THEME:

Just Society for All:
Celebrating Facilitators and Promoters in a Challenging World

WHAT IT IS ABOUT

The Third International Ombud Expo 2027 will bring together over 300 ombud offices, human rights bodies, grievance handlers, integrity organisations, and other oversight and governance institutions from more than 100 countries. The Expo will serve as a global platform for exhibition and the showcasing of their roles, operations, and performance impact.

Convened under the theme “Just Society for All: Celebrating Facilitators and Promoters in a Challenging World,” the Expo underscores that building a just society is not merely aspirational—it is fundamental to achieving stability, prosperity, and human dignity. A just society is one in which fairness, equality, and respect underpin governance, organisational conduct, and everyday life.

Today, this ideal faces increasing pressure from powerful forces across the world. Despite these challenges, many institutions and individuals—often unsung—continue to work resolutely to advance justice and accountability.

International Ombud Expo will run from 24 to 28 May 2027 in:

WORLD TRADE CENTER
WILLEMSTAD, CURAÇAO
SOUTHERN CARIBBEAN
