Will I have the opportunity to experience the culture and tradition of Botswana while in Gaborone?
Yes, cultural displays are included in the event details at the venue for your pleasure. Further, the Expo Host is organising an optional visit/tour of Botswana culture and institutions.
Regular transport will be provided from the designated hotels to the Expo venue and back throughout the event.
Transport will be provided from and to the airport on arrival and departure from the designated hotels.
English is the principal language and interpreters will be available for Arabic, Chinese, French, Portuguese, and Spanish.
Lodging and Accommodation
The Expo website shows the range of hotels and room-types that are available for your consideration.
We have designated hotels on the Expo website. Hotels may demand evidence of confirmed registration before booking your request at the Expo rate.

Registration
Cancellations are valid, and refunds will be made subject to the following conditions:
- Notifying the IOE 2024 Secretariat by e-mail of your intention to cancel. (Email: ioe2024@gmsiuk.com)
- Requests for cancellation received by 31 March 2024 qualify for 100% refund.
- Requests for cancellation received from 1 April 2024 will attract 35% bank and administrative charges.
- Regrettably, requests for refund will not be entertained and payable on and after 1 July 2024.

Yes. You will receive an immediate confirmatory e-mail after which the IOE
Secretariat will email you separately at the address provided with an invoice as well as other documentations towards your participation as exhibitor and or participant.

Travel and visa
Regular transport will be provided from the designated hotels to the Expo venue and back throughout the event.
Transport will be provided from and to the airport on arrival and departure from the designated hotels.
Once the necessary registration and payment have been done, you will be issued with a formal invitation letter to support your visa application to attend the Expo.
